At the 2025 Aegis Summit, Dr. David Feinberg traced an extraordinary journey across healthcare and technology—from child psychiatry at UCLA, to leading UCLA Health, to driving community-rooted innovation at Geisinger, to building Google Health, and now chairing Oracle Health & Life Sciences.
Through a series of deeply personal stories, he reflected on moments where the system fell short for patients and families, and asked what might have been different if today’s AI tools and data infrastructure had existed then. He described what it means to be “in love with your community,” how food-as-medicine, genomics, and longitudinal data can change lives at scale, and how he learned that authoritative information, delivered at global scale during COVID, can build trust rather than erode it.
