Dr. Emily Lee is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Wavelet Medical and a nationally recognized maternal-fetal medicine specialist with more than a decade of clinical and academic experience. She brings deep expertise in high-risk obstetrics and evidence-based perinatal care, with a career dedicated to improving outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lee has trained and practiced at leading academic medical centers, including the University of Michigan, UCLA, and Yale University. She currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yale, where she contributes to advancing research and education in maternal-fetal medicine. Her work has focused on integrating emerging technologies into obstetric practice, ensuring that innovations meet the highest standards of safety, rigor, and clinical utility.

At Wavelet, Dr. Lee leads clinical strategy, physician engagement, and trial design as the company pioneers non-invasive, AI-powered fetal brain monitoring. She works closely with health systems and research partners to validate Wavelet’s technology and ensure seamless integration into existing standards of care, with the goal of redefining how fetal distress is detected and managed during childbirth.
