John Noseworthy, MD

Dr. John Noseworthy is Chairman of the Aegis Digital Consortium, a group of eleven leading regional health systems that innovate directly with Aegis Ventures to co-develop, invest in, and deploy healthtech solutions that address healthcare's most pressing quality, equity, and cost problems, and enable them to better care for the communities they serve. As Chairman, Dr. Noseworthy works closely with health system partners to leverage the respective strengths and strategic plans of each system, guide the Consortium's strategic direction, and ensure a cohesive approach as new solutions are developed and adopted. He will also represent health system investors on the boards of directors of jointly developed companies.

Dr. Noseworthy is also President and CEO Emeritus of Mayo Clinic. During his tenure as CEO, Mayo became a leading global hub of healthtech innovation, the number-one ranked hospital in the world, and the number-one ranked location for destination medicine. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Noseworthy served as Chair of Mayo Clinic's Department of Neurology and Editor-in-Chief of Neurology. In addition to his leadership roles at Mayo, Dr. Noseworthy has served on the Boards of Merck, United Health Group, AlixPartners, the MITRE Corporation and Tract Pharmaceuticals.
